Alternative Rainbow Mountain

Alternative Rainbow Mountain

The Rainbow Mountain is one of the most popular tours in the Cusco region. Unfortunately, it is also an example of very unsustainable tourism. That is why Alemana Tours doesn´t offer this tour. However, there is an alternative. It is near the Palccoyo Community. You will see three beautiful mountain ranges with the colorful patters caused by the minerals in the soil. In addition, it will be less demanding as you will hike just 1 hour, as where on the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain you will hike 3 hours with hundreds of other people to the top. On this tour, you will also visit the Palccoyo Community. Part of the price you pay for this tour will be donated to support this community.
